Can't say I was surprised. given my experiences with Dyson creations, I am happy to report on their latest success story.

I often get irritated when commercials keep hollering how something is "easy as 1, 2, 3!" That pitch is usually laid on thick by the least trustworthy person you could imagine. Seems like we've heard that line for so many years it gets tougher to believe. Well finally, here's one product that delivers on its promise.

Seems like ages ago our Mom's tried to keep leftovers fresh by pouring them into heavy glass bowls and attempting to seal them with aluminum foil. However, the only thing fresh about that memory is how heavy the bowls were and how food always seemed to slosh out around the edges of the foil.

Anyway, for years I've put off buying a mortar and pestle because I wasn't certain I would use it often enough. I'm convinced fate played a role in my delay, too. Recently, I was so intrigued by commercials for chef Jamie Oliver's "Flavor Shaker" I decided to try one. After all, this is more attractive than most mortar and pestles I've seen, and appeared more versatile and fun to use. What's your favorite kitchen tool? For years, mine was that marvelous creation - the spork. My wife finally convinced me it's time to moisturize. After recent beach walking and biking in Florida - couple of our fave activities - even I could tell from my flaky leg skin that something was amiss. Perceptive, yes? Sadly, I'm thinking my chances of becoming a master rapper have likely slipped away. Poor timing, plus I just couldn't invest the required effort. Happily, I have another choice - and, so do you. I'm proud to have made several Korean friends over the years. Here's what I'm talking about. When you listen to the radio for a while, you eventually end up thinking, "I can program more appealing music than this." Now you can and fortunately it's easy. Matter of fact, you can even program your group of stations - quickly and easily, then take your stations along with you. Even your iPod can't do that. But now, you can discover a world of constantly changing music that fits your changing moods. A whole world of stations are already pre-set, but you can easily customize each to make it your own if you wish.

One of the more enjoyable quests for me recently has been locating the finest cookware. Seem mundane? Not if you enjoy cooking - and that's one of my favorite hobbies. Literally. My dentist is a comedian. Well, he thinks he is. I'm in for my cleaning and such and he's asking me if I've changed my toothbrush in the past few years. Green Kitchen ??

If your sponge smelled like mine did a couple weeks ago, you might go
looking for a new choice also. I finally got tired of waiting for my

Give the gift of laughter. Always a top choice in my book. Can't we all just get along? Well, with more yucks we sure can. You probably caught Ricky Gervais starring in The Office on BBC America before that series was "translated" to a U.S. version. Well, both critics and
fans raved – or at least foamed at the mouth – about his latest short-run series called "Extras." Now avail as a five-disc dvd collection, you get both seasons, and, the never-before-released
90-minute series finale.

Growing up in Washington, DC (our nation's capital, you'll remember), I loved going to a theatre near the White House that showed double-feature British comedies on Friday evening's. Got hooked on 'em, big-time. In those days, it was tough to understand some of the "Cockney"-type accents. But, you won't have trouble with this sensational collection. Date night with your honey will find you rolling on the floor (laughing, mostly) with each episode. The show won an Emmy, so you know it's gotta be decent. That's what I'm sayin.
